IANA Registration
UKS targets registration of the application/uks+json media type with IANA, following the RFC 6838 template.

spec/IANA-REGISTRATION.md.
Status
The registration is written and ready, held pending the open-review window. Per the governance prerequisites:
- ✅ Open-source reference implementation
- ✅ Two independent interoperable implementations
- 🟡 30-day public comment period — open now
- 🟡 Stability freeze in progress
- ⬜ Neutral steward (via the W3C CG)
The IANA submission goes out once the comment window closes with no unresolved blocking objection.
